The character of Southfields
Southfields is a grid of Victorian terraces either side of Replingham Road, most of it controlled parking with short loading windows. Wimbledon Park Road forms the eastern edge and carries steady traffic toward Wandsworth, while Durnsford Road threads south toward Colliers Wood. During the Championships fortnight, pedestrian numbers around the station make even a short approach slow, and the car waits a street or two back rather than at the tube entrance.
- During the Championships the car waits a street back from the station and confirms on your call.
- Streets off Replingham Road are permit-controlled outside short loading windows.
- The London ULEZ covers Southfields; it is included in every quotation.
- Durnsford Road and Wimbledon Park Road are the two routes we use around tournament closures.
