Rear cabin and seating
In the rear, two adults are well looked after. The seat backs have gentle shaping instead of deep bolsters, which is kinder to a suit, and each outer seat has an adjustable head restraint, with a fold-down armrest between the pair. Legroom is enough but not generous next to a flagship, so anyone planning more than an hour of laptop work would be better off in the S-Class.
The side windows are tall enough to let light in without leaving whoever sits in the back on show. Many higher-spec cars have privacy glass in the rear windows, and you're welcome to ask for it, but we can't promise it. After dark, a reading light over each outer seat lets you get through paperwork while the rest of the cabin stays dim.
