What happens when you land
After the transit ride from the satellite and the border check, you walk into a single arrivals hall. The chauffeur is there with a name board. From that point the vehicle is a short walk away in the designated pickup area, and the car is on the M11 within a few minutes.
We record the flight number when the reservation is taken and check published arrival times through the day, so despatch matches the aircraft rather than the schedule. Stansted runs a great deal of early morning and late evening traffic, and both extremes are covered as standard rather than by arrangement.
- Airside satellites, but a single landside arrivals hall
- Name board meeting, then a short walk to the vehicle
- Early morning and late evening flights covered as routine
