The business parks and how to reach them
Green Park lies south of the town beside the motorway, entered from the A33 at Longwater Avenue. It is the easiest of the parks for a car: wide internal roads, on-site parking and a direct line to junction 11. Its own railway station has altered the traffic pattern on the A33 somewhat, though not enough to matter for a chauffeured arrival.
Thames Valley Park sits east of the centre on the river, reached from the A3290 and the Sonning junction. It is quieter than Green Park and the approach through Earley can be slow between eight and nine. Winnersh Triangle and Arlington are on the A329(M) corridor and are better served from junction 10 than through the town.
For a day of meetings across more than one park, the sensible arrangement is an hourly booking with the car staying with you. Crossing Reading between the A33 and the A3290 is not a five-minute job in the middle of the day, whatever the distance suggests.
