The character of Earlsfield
Earlsfield sits in a dip between Wandsworth and Tooting, and Garratt Lane carries most of the through-traffic in both directions with buses adding to the congestion at peak times. The residential streets either side, particularly around Trinity Road and Burntwood Lane, are permit-controlled and narrow enough that two cars meeting head-on need care. The station forecourt is short and clears quickly once the rush subsides.
- The car waits off Garratt Lane rather than on it, and comes round on your call.
- Streets near Trinity Road and Burntwood Lane are permit-controlled for most of the day.
- Earlsfield sits inside the ULEZ boundary, which we factor into every fare quoted here.
- The station forecourt is short and best avoided during the morning commuter rush.
