Timing is the whole discipline
Almost everything that goes wrong with a chauffeur journey is a timing problem wearing a different hat. A car that arrives on the hour rather than ten minutes before it. A route chosen for distance instead of for the traffic on that particular morning. A meeting that over-runs into a slot with no slack in it.
Platinum works backwards from the arrival that matters. The departure time falls out of that calculation rather than being picked first, and the gaps in an itinerary are sized to absorb the delays that a working day reliably produces.
- Departure set from the required arrival, not the other way round
- Traffic patterns considered by hour and by direction, not as an average
- Slack built into multi-stop days rather than negotiated on the day
