How a Manchester day is usually built
A typical booking is not a single transfer. It is a morning collection from a hotel on Peter Street, two meetings inside the regional centre, a run out to MediaCityUK at Salford Quays, and a late return to the terminals. The car stays with you between appointments, so nothing has to be rebooked halfway through the day.
Spinningfields is the densest part of that pattern. The blocks around Hardman Square and Bridge Street hold most of the legal and financial occupiers, and the surrounding streets are tightly controlled. Chauffeurs normally hold on Quay Street or Byrom Street and move to the entrance on a message rather than idling outside it.
Deansgate itself is slow at almost any hour and restricted along part of its length. For anything on or beside it we ask for a building name rather than a street number. That single detail removes an entire circuit of the block.
- Meeting point confirmed the evening before
- Vehicle held nearby between appointments, not on a restricted kerb
- Building names preferred over street numbers in the centre
