Colmore Row, Brindleyplace and the business core
The Colmore Business District covers a compact grid between Snow Hill and Victoria Square, and much of it is either pedestrianised or loading-restricted. Practical holding points sit on Livery Street, Barwick Street and the lower end of Newhall Street, all within a minute of the main entrances on Colmore Row and Church Street.
Brindleyplace and the canalside offices to the west are reached from Broad Street and Sheepcote Street. The square itself takes no vehicles, so collections are made from the Oozells Street side and the chauffeur walks the last few metres if luggage needs carrying.
For roadshow days across several West Midlands addresses, an itinerary is drawn up in advance with holding positions marked for each stop. Meetings overrun; the plan should absorb that without anyone making phone calls from a pavement.
- Holding points identified for each address before the day begins
- Brindleyplace collections made from Oozells Street or Sheepcote Street
- Multi-stop days coordinated through one point of contact
