A pickup that never has to be explained
Repeat pickups are the easiest part of a schedule to get wrong. A home address with two gates, an office with a service entrance the public never uses, a hotel where the front canopy is a taxi rank. These details are recorded once and then applied every time, so nobody spends the first ten minutes of a journey on the phone.
The chauffeur is in position ahead of the stated time and sends a short confirmation with the vehicle description and where he is standing. If the building has no waiting, he holds on a legal nearby street and moves in when the executive is ready. The arrangement is the same on the tenth journey as on the first.
