The character of Horsham
The Causeway, one of the best-preserved medieval streets in the South East, is narrow and largely pedestrian-priority, so a car cannot simply pull up outside its timber-framed buildings. The Carfax, the old market square, is more open and allows brief loading. Piries Place and the surrounding car parks handle most short-stay pickups, and residential streets further out are typically easy for kerbside waiting.

- Piries Place car parks are the usual holding point for a town-centre pickup.
- Christ's Hospital collections use the school's designated visitor entrance.
- Residential streets beyond the centre generally allow straightforward kerbside waiting.
