The character of Brentwood
The High Street climbs a shallow hill through the town centre and narrows near the Cathedral of St Mary and St Helen, where kerbside space is limited. Shenfield's station approach is busier and more purpose-built, with a proper drop-off arrangement suited to commuter volumes. Warley and Hutton, the residential areas either side, are quieter and easier for a scheduled collection than the town centre itself.
- The High Street narrows near the Cathedral — the car holds slightly further down and walks up.
- Shenfield station uses a dedicated drop-off area, busiest around the morning commute.
- We favour the A12 over the M25 for a Stansted run whenever Junction 28 is under pressure.
- Warley and Hutton collections are straightforward residential pickups with on-street waiting.
