The character of Haverhill
The High Street and the older centre are compact and manageable, with limited but workable kerbside space outside the main shops. The newer residential estates on the edges of town are wide and straightforward for a scheduled collection. Because Haverhill has no station, the car itself often becomes the connecting journey rather than a short taxi hop, so we build a realistic full journey time into the quotation from the outset.
- The High Street has limited but workable kerbside space outside the main shops.
- Newer estates on the edge of town offer straightforward wide-road collection.
- With no local station, we plan the full onward journey rather than a short connecting leg.
- The A1307 toward Cambridge is single carriageway and factored into timing accordingly.
