The character of Swindon
The town centre runs on roundabouts, most famously the Magic Roundabout, a ring of five mini-roundabouts that unsettles drivers who have not used it before. Old Town has tighter Victorian streets and limited waiting, so cars generally hold nearby rather than at the door. The business parks along the M4 corridor are the most straightforward part of the town to work, with wide roads and defined visitor parking.
- Old Town has limited kerbside space — the car waits nearby and comes to the door on your call.
- The Magic Roundabout is worth avoiding at peak times; we route around it where the timing allows.
- Business park visitor parking is generally straightforward, with defined bays close to reception.
- Railway station pickups use the short-stay area rather than the main forecourt.
