The character of Edmonton
The North Circular through Edmonton is a busy dual carriageway that separates rather than serves the local streets, so most pickups happen on the quieter roads either side of it rather than anywhere near the main road itself. Edmonton Green's interchange sees constant bus and pedestrian activity. Fore Street and the residential streets toward Silver Street are calmer and better suited to a longer wait.
- The North Circular itself is not a place to wait — pickups happen on the roads either side of it.
- Edmonton Green's interchange is busiest through the middle of the day.
- Fore Street and Silver Street are calmer alternatives for a longer wait.
- Angel Road junction can add delay at peak times for journeys toward the M25.
