The character of Bank
Bank junction itself bans general traffic from seven in the morning until seven at night, Monday to Friday, leaving it to buses, cycles and licensed taxis. Threadneedle Street, Cornhill and King William Street feed the junction but do not carry through its middle. Leadenhall Market's arcades are pedestrian. We hold on a side lane off Cornhill or Queen Victoria Street and walk the final short distance when an address sits directly on the junction.
- The Bank junction bars general traffic on weekdays from seven until seven — cars wait off Cornhill.
- Leadenhall Market's arcades are pedestrian; the nearest holding point is on Gracechurch Street.
- For an address directly on the junction, expect a short walk to the car.
- Evening collections after trading hours cluster sharply between five and half six.
