Coming through into arrivals
The chauffeur meets you inside the arrivals hall with a name board and takes you to the vehicle in the designated pickup area outside. There is no second terminal, no shuttle and no long concourse, so the process takes minutes rather than a quarter of an hour.
Your flight number is on the booking sheet and the published arrival time is checked during the day so despatch matches the aircraft. Transatlantic and Gulf arrivals land in the early part of the day and reclaim can be slower then; that is anticipated rather than treated as a delay.
- Single terminal, so meeting arrangements never depend on a building number
- Name board meeting in arrivals, then a short walk outside
- Extra margin built into festival-period bookings in August
