The character of Teddington
Broad Street and the High Street form the commercial spine, narrow enough that a car waiting there blocks a lane, so pickups tend to happen on a side street just off them. Kingston Road and Twickenham Road carry most through-traffic, both busy at school and commuter times. Teddington Lock and the footbridge across it are popular on foot but hold no vehicle access at all, which occasionally surprises a visitor expecting a car to reach the towpath directly.
- The car waits on a side street off Broad Street rather than on the High Street itself.
- Teddington Lock has no vehicle access; collections nearby happen on Ferry Road or the High Street.
- Teddington sits within the ULEZ boundary, already reflected in the quoted fare.
- Bushy Park's gates close at night, which we plan around for late collections.
