The character of Morden
Morden town centre, where the A24 and A297 meet, is busy with bus traffic around the station, and waiting directly outside is not realistic for more than a minute. Streets off London Road toward Morden Hall Park are calmer and better suited to a standing wait. The gyratory system around the centre can be confusing on a first visit, which is exactly why we route through it carefully.
- The station forecourt suits a quick drop only; a side street is agreed in advance.
- Streets off London Road toward the park suit a standing wait.
- The town centre gyratory is navigated carefully rather than assumed straightforward.
- Bus volumes add to congestion around the station through the day.
