The timetable, written backwards
Planning begins at the ceremony time and works back through every fixed point: the photographer arriving, the last dressing check, the travel time on that specific day of the week, and a margin that is real rather than optimistic. Saturday traffic near a popular venue is not Tuesday traffic, and a fifteen-minute drive can take thirty at noon.
The finished schedule names each vehicle, each passenger group, each collection address and each arrival time. Everyone who needs it has it. On the morning itself nobody is asked to make a decision about transport.
- Every timing calculated for the actual day of the week
- Named vehicle and named passengers for each movement
- Schedule reissued once the venue publishes its own running order
