The character of Ickenham
The village keeps a genuinely small scale: a green, a church hall, a short parade of shops and residential streets running off in every direction. Swakeleys Park, on the western side, adds open space without much traffic of its own. Parking is rarely a problem here compared with the busier centres nearby, and cars usually wait directly on the street closest to the pickup address rather than needing a fallback spot.
- Street parking is generally easy here; the car waits directly outside the address given.
- Swakeleys Park has visitor parking for daytime pickups away from the village green.
- Junction 1 of the M40 is a short run from the village, useful for journeys heading north.
- Ickenham is covered by the expanded ULEZ, a detail already built into the price we quote.
