The character of Harlington
Harlington keeps a village centre that feels separate from the airport a few hundred metres away, with a green, a war memorial and the twelfth-century St Peter and St Paul's Church at its heart. The Bath Road frontage is a different world: wide, busy day and night, and lined with hotels built for shift patterns rather than shop windows. Cars wait in the hotel forecourts or on quieter side streets off the green, never on the Bath Road itself.
- Hotel forecourts on the Bath Road are used for guest collections; residential streets for local pickups.
- The village green sees little traffic, so cars wait close to the church without blocking the road.
- Sipson Road into the Central Terminal Area is the single busiest approach; we build in margin against it.
- The area sits within the expanded ULEZ, which is factored into every quotation from the outset.
