The character of Farnborough
Farnborough's built environment sits close against the airfield boundary, with Cove Road and the A325 running parallel to the runway for much of their length. Airshow years bring road closures and heavy visitor traffic around the exhibition site for the better part of a week, reshaping journey times across the whole town rather than just the immediate area. Outside those periods the roads are ordinary and easy, with ample business-park parking near the aerospace firms.
- Private aviation collections are timed to the confirmed aircraft slot rather than a fixed clock hour.
- The airport's own access roads are used only for a booking that specifically requires apron or FBO-side collection.
- Airshow week brings road closures around the exhibition site for several days; we plan around the published traffic arrangements.
- Business parks around the airfield have ample dedicated parking; a building name speeds up the meet.
