The character of Fareham
The town centre around West Street is compact and partly pedestrianised, with the Delme Roundabout marking the edge of the shopping area and carrying nearly all through traffic. Cams Hall and the business parks to the west have their own access roads and generous parking, which makes corporate pickups straightforward. Residential streets off the main roads are narrow, so we agree a nearby holding point rather than block a driveway.
- West Street is partly pedestrianised; the car waits near the Delme Roundabout side.
- Cams Hall and Segensworth business addresses have their own on-site parking for pickups.
- Residential side streets are narrow — we hold nearby rather than at a tight driveway.
- Portchester Castle area pickups use the adjacent seafront road, not the castle grounds itself.
