The character of Cobham
Cobham's High Street is short and easy to work, with a handful of loading bays that clear by mid-morning. The village itself is compact, but the wider area is spread across large private plots along Fairmile Lane, Tartar Hill and the lanes toward Stoke D'Abernon, many behind hedges or gates that hide the house from the road. The A3 running past the village is fast but exposed to queuing at the Painshill and Wisley junctions.
- Many addresses sit down long private drives off Fairmile Lane; we confirm the exact gate in advance.
- Cobham's loading bays clear by mid-morning; the car can wait close to the shops after that.
- The Wisley interchange decides most journey times here; we check it before confirming the collection time.
- Painshill Park and the golf clubs have their own entrance roads; a gate name speeds the meet.
