The character of Stourbridge
The town centre is small and easily walked, with Mary Stevens Park on one side and the high street on the other, and short-stay bays doing most of the work for a kerbside wait. The roads out toward Stourbridge Junction are wider and busier with commuter traffic at the peaks. Approaches from Wollaston and Norton are quieter and more residential.
- Cars hold near Mary Stevens Park or on the high street and move to the door on your call.
- The Stourbridge Town branch line is a short walk from the centre if you are arriving by rail.
- Roads near Stourbridge Junction get busy with commuter traffic at both peaks.
- Wollaston and Norton addresses are generally easy for kerbside waiting.
