The character of Sidcup
Sidcup High Street carries most of the local traffic and has limited short-stay parking, so a waiting car generally holds on one of the side streets rather than the high street itself. The residential roads around Hatherley Road and towards Blackfen are calmer, wider and easier to work in. Foots Cray Meadows has its own car park, useful for a scheduled collection after a walk.
