The character of Rhyl
The seafront promenade runs the length of the town, with the harbour and marina at its eastern end offering easier vehicle access than the older streets around the High Street. Through-traffic is generally kept to the A548 rather than the seafront itself. Cars wait on the streets just back from the promenade or in the harbour car parks rather than on the front.
- Cars wait just back from the promenade or in the harbour car parks.
- Summer weekends bring the heaviest coastal traffic on the A525 and A548.
- Marina events at the harbour are accounted for when we plan the collection.
- We route north for every airport transfer — Cardiff is not a realistic option here.
