The character of Hendon
The roads around Hendon are dominated by the interchange of the North Circular, the A41 and the approach to the M1, which makes for fast but occasionally confusing driving for those unfamiliar with the junctions. Away from these main roads, Hendon's residential streets are calmer, with Hendon Park offering a useful landmark. Brent Cross's access roads see heavy queuing at weekends and in the run-up to major shopping periods.
