The character of Ballymena
The centre around the Town Hall and Wellington Street is compact, with limited kerbside space during shopping hours. Galgorm, just outside the town, is spread out and geared toward cars, easy for a scheduled pickup at the resort entrance. The M2's Ballymena junctions are the genuine bottleneck for any longer trip, more so than the town's own streets.
- Wellington Street and the town centre are tightest during shopping hours.
- Galgorm has its own entrance road and car park, straightforward for a scheduled pickup.
- Slemish and Braid Valley trips are treated as scenic private bookings, not timed transfers.
- The M2 junctions carry the real delay on a longer trip, not the town centre itself.
